Renumber G/L Accounts, mapping value is in Released mapping status

Mapping is in Released Status and is not proceeding further.
How to convert these G/L Accounts Numbers?

If the Mapping value is in Released status, and the conversion has not started yet. Kindly start the conversion using  ‘Convert Renumbered G/L Accounts’ application with business user having SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR assigned.

Only the following issues are supported in Renumber G/L Accounts:
1. Id change.
2. Description change.
3. Flag change.

I completed renumbering for one G/L in Dev. But the G/L number did not change. And I released the mapping by mistake. Now when I try to create new mapping. It says previous one is still in progress. What should I do?
