Hi All,
Maintenance plants A,B&C are there. Where all the equipment(assets) will be maintained in the maintenance plant A. When equipment(vehicles) are required by plant B& plant C they will raise a request , then maintenance plant A will give the equipment to B&C and will charge on a monthly basis.
1.How to map this scenario,it is the construction industry. PLM Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/Plant Maintenance (PM)

Greetings,

you can define this by having several maintenance plants assigned to one maintancce planning plant. Your equipment would be part of the plant and could migrate between plants with relocation. If you want to change maintenance plant you first need to uninstall equipment from the functional location and then change maintancce plant (and possibly additional plant relevant data).

You can simplify this scenario if you do not require multiple maintenance plants - you can have functional locations which would represent plants and you can have these equipment migrating between them.

Greetings,

that's more of an production planning topic than a plant maintenance one. You need to ask yourself how you are planning your day-to-day operations.

But in general I think you have two options:

  • define your construction equipment as PRT which you would assign to an operation of a production order
  • define your construction equipment as a work center and establish the connection between work center an equipment master data. Work center is then execution work center of the operation in the production order

Work centres have their capacity which can be evaluated and levelled in capacity planning processes which are are correlated to demand management etc.

Best regards, Matjaž
