Remove Quality stock from Available stock in MD04

Hi, need some help with avaialbe stock in MD04.

I do not want the Quality stock to be calculated in the Available stock in SAP MD04. I understand if the run the Backorder processing using CO09 it shows correctly as it based on the scope of check unlike in MD04. But the requirement is for MD04, need quality stock excluded from available qty. 

Question is where do I make this setting in the configuration to Exclude Quality stock from Available stock in MD04? 

I don't think MD04 is based on scope of check, even if it is all my scope of check has Quality stock as excluded.

Secondly, I think it's very likely to be in Config Production>MRP>Evaluation>Filter> Defines selection Rules & Define Selection filter. But here also in the rules it is maintained as "Do not consider" for QM ins Lots.

Even tried creating my own filter and customizing it didn't work out. Looks like it's not even reading it from here. 

I would really appreciate any help.

Hi Mo_Lee,

Although I am not an expert on this subject please consider:

- Quality stock is normally seen as MRP-relevant as a system setting (I think you can not change this system setting in any customizing)

- In case you do not want Quality stock as relevant for MRP you could move it into a storage location which is customized as not MRP-relevant

- Quality stock is not seen as available during the release of a production order (availability check)

I know it works fine when releasing production order, the requirement is for MD04 specifically. And I also know that it can be changed to however we want to view it in MD04, because we used to have that set up in our old SAP system where it would only show "unrestricted stock" as available stock.
