Release Strategy not triggered in PO

Release Strategy not triggered in PO and also in PR. Release Strategy stimulation is working fine but release tab is not coming in Po and also Pr.

What step  I have to do after release strategy stimulation.

This is my CL24N screen. My Release strategy/class is OR JP. Iam unable to delete Z1 DD, MM AF,LL YY etc.

The screen shot clearly says that there is inconsistency in the Release strategies. Unless you correct it you cannot delete the same.

As said by Jurgen, please check the purchase requisition number in ME54N transaction may be the one which is coming by default in ME54N doesnot require release. Click on other purchase requisition and yours and check what it says.

Hi,

1st check what release class for PR assigned release group of PR and then check all  release characteristics are in the release class(CL02).Now cross check the release VALUES in each  release characteristic and did the same release VALUES are there in your release strategy!

Are you creating PR with VALUES in the release strategy?

The same steps apllies to Purchase order also,just investigate!

This was unfortunatly not the screen that I would like to look at.

go into your customizing of release strategy with classification.

select your combination of group and strategy and go into the details

Here click the button for classification and take a screen shot.

but iam getting error when using me54n as Purchase request XXXXXX cannot be released ( showing PR is not which i have created)

like any modern purchasing transaction ME54N comes up with the last used requisition.

as this requisition does not have a release strategy, you get the this information message.

so you just click enter.

then you are on the initial ME54N screen.

here you click the usual icon to enter another PR number.

Unless you provides details, difficult to suggest an answer.

What are release criteria's you selected for PO and PR release strategy?

What are the release characteristics you have for PO and PR release procedure?

If you configure perfectly  the  PO and PR release strategy, did you transfers the "Vital Release Values" with your release strategy with release group and release class.
