Hello colleagues,
where (which table) can I find the relation between return PO and PO? I only find the field EKPO-RETPO indicating that the PO item is the return PO, but where to find the PO for which this return PO was created?
Kind regards
Petr
As per my understanding, we can create the Return PO against the Original PO against which we have received the PO provided we activate Advanced Returns Management in SPRO. I have done one of my projects few years ago. I am sending you the other community thread (somebody else's but its good. You can ref that field - Reference doc - which is original PO.

Thanks and all the best. Hope you find the solution.

If we are returning material against a PO that has been received - we do a 122 on the GR. In that case the reversal happened against the original PO & you should find all relevant information in the regular PO tables - EKKO,EKPO & EKBE
Return PO on the other hand are independent - essentially a regular PO can be created for your vendor with some materials to be returned. These materials will be marked with the return check as you have mentioned in your query. Movement type will be 161.
So return PO items are not used to return against an original PO that was received but rather to return a material whenever you are creating a PO . Hope this helps.
