Rejected requisitions valid in MD04

Hi SAP gurus,

We're currently using Flexible Workflow where requisitions can be approved or rejected. After rejecting a requisition it's not possible to do any additional edits. However, we noticed that the open quantity in the requisition remains unchanged, and rejected PR's are still considered as live documents in MD04, throwing off the MRP execution.

Is there any setting that I'm missing for MRP parameters? How can Logically "close" the PR if it's not possible to edit it anymore?

Could you please share the screen shot of PR and MD04?

What kind of Purchase requisition is it? Do you have issue with all rejected PRs?

If it is subcon Prqs then execute report like RM06C020.

Please note if the purchase requisition is closed (field EBAN-EBAKZ is set). Flags a purchase requisition as closed means that no further purchase orders are to be created for this purchase requisition. It is possible to change this flag in ME52N, tab 'Dates/quantities' (EBAN-EBAKZ). Therefore, they are no longer relevant to MRP and are not displayed in MD04.

That looks like an obvious bug. Why don’t you report it to SAP support?
