Hi All,

I am going do my First Upgrade Project with a Manufacturing Company. i am a Functional Consultant(FICO). Being a Functional Consultant what do i have to Perform.

That would be Helpful if you can share any of the Documentation related to Upgrades & FICO.

Hi,

You role (depending on tech/functional upgrade) would be

a. Blueprint Phase - prepare blue print phase, gather requirements, gap analysis etc.,

b. Realisation Phase - Config of new version, Unit Testing (FI Objects) and Integration Testing (Interfaces and Flow to other Modules)

c. Cutover - Cutover Activites, planning moving to new version from old one

d. Post Go Live Support - Support new version until its stable.
