Hello gurus,

I am facing one problem while creating PO; some product will take the delivery date some products will give the error message “Enter delivery date”. If any problem in info record or any other problem in settings. Kindly guide me how can solve this problem.

all experts give correct ans... i think it whould slved your problem

one thing also you can check that if the PR delivery date is expired with the current date (means PR del date is 20.12.07 and u r making po 24.12.07 then the msg can be possible... but in that situation the 20.12.07 will display in your del. column.) pls check

Info record

Vendor master

Thanks for your reply, I have checked the Info record and MM and we have maintained planned delivery time in both master.

If we create PO for same material to other vendor, PO created without any errors.

Ur problem is solved or still getting errors for some material

Is it giving same error. ( After maintaining planned delivery time)

Also make sure that u have also maintained GR processing time for that material in purchase view

also check whether the migo date falls on same or after scheduled delivery date.

I have checked the vendor master we have mention Planned Delivery Time=0 Days,

Wheather we should change the delivery time?

Also check in screen layout for PO.U have maintained Delivery date as optional entry

T code OMF4 or path SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Define Screen Layout at Document Level

select ME21/ME21N go to details--> Deadline Monitoring -->Delivery date maintain Delivery date as optional entry

also try to keep the planned delivery time same in VM,MM and INFORECORD.

Hi,

Check your inforecord planned delivery time.

Even you can enter manually in the PO about the delivery time at item level.(see also inSeperate tab page for Delivery in PO )
