Refence object goes blank in the reference object assignment block

Hi

We are implementing a S4HANA Service solution and we are facing an issue when an Equipment is picked form the search list in a Service Order, it is not linked in Reference Object field and no error is shown, then the field goes blank again.

We are working in S4HANA 2022, can any of you faced such behavior and know how to solve?
