recover a value of variant configuration in va01

I need recover a value of a characteristics of the variant configuration of a item. But I don't find the table or structure before saving the sales document, in the user exit save_document.

I have a bapi when the sales is saved, in order to recover the characteristics.

Please it's urgent, thanks in advance

Hi Paloma,

If you want to make change before the real saving, the right userexit should be USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.

But I am not sure whether this works for the field you want to edit.
