Reconciliation problem between MB51 and MC.A report

I need to know the total receipts and issues value during certain periods for certain plant/location. Although, MC.A report shows total receipt and issues values but when I execute MB51 and make total of all receiving stock then values doesn’t match with the MC.A value. Same with issue values. Can any one help me to resolve this issue?

Check matl.statistics group. Table MVKE field VERSG.

matl. statistics group along with customer stats group are responsible for updation of various logical info structure.

If there is while creating customer master or material master you forget to enter data for this field (Sales Area Data -> Sales -> Cust.stats.group for Customer, Material Master -> sales org.2) then some report may show errors.

Hi,

Please run RM07MMFI program through SE38 to analyse the differences. if there are discrepencies in the result of this program then mail me details.

Second , check the patch level (functional) of your system, if it is updated upto 18 (or 19) or not?

Thanks for your reply, please note that there is no discrepancies found in report RM07MMFI. I think I was not clear my question, kindly run the report MC.A in your system for any particular period and try to reconcile the receipt column amount or issue amount with any other report to verify the receipt / issues values. I didn’t understand the output of MC.A report.

Hi,

Both of these reports are two different things, Actually MC.A report is based and updated on info structure and the infostructure you are looking in SO69 (I think), You change the Info Structure may be your doubts will be cleared like you try to chnge it by S039 or..something else and analyse the resuls.

(Also check Material Statistcical group in Sales View 2 in Material Master for proper updation of Info structures.)

Please note,Reprot MB51 is list of movements, not only goods issue ot reciept

Hi Muhammad,

MC.A reports gives the Valuated Stock Recieved Value and Valuated Stocks Issued Value and the number of material movements.

Valuated stocks Recieved Value is the amount of stock at recieved so far (the value of goods received is derived from the delivered quantity that is valuated with the net order price from valuated stock)

Valuated Stock Issued refers to the valuated stock that had been issued so far (which is valuated with the current price)

Material movements refers to all movements such as GR,GI,Stock transfer, etc
