Recon account number is showing instead of customer account number

I am using the S/4 Hana. When I made the entry of customer collection, I debited the Bank's incoming account and credited the customer account. But after the entry when I went to view the journal(through the general ledger view), it showed the Bank incoming account debit but the recon account instead of customer account credit. If I find the document through GL line item display it show the recon account.

But When I find the same document using customer balance display like FD10N, it shows the expected entry like: Bank incoming debit and Customer account credit.

How can I ensure only customer account number will be showed for all angle view.

Thank you for your reply. It solved my problem partially.

But I was using SAP ECC 6.0 before, you can see in the account column customer GL is showing:

But when my company goes to S/4 Hana, where configuration has been changed somehow. My new systems screenshot is below:

Hope, I will let you describe my problem through the above images. The only difference is the Entry view and General Ledger view. How can I make the General Ledger View default.

Hi arupkumar.das,

If I understood your problem properly, you are not able to see the customer account during review of accounting postings in FB03, you can see only the reconciliation account linked to customer. If that's right, that's probably just a layout issue. My screenshot below shows you a combination of three columns that show customer account, reconciliation GL account and alternative reconciliation. Alternative reconciliation accounts are used if you manage local chart of accounts for a country, so maybe this one is not really relevant for you. But SAP supports it as well.

So if you see only reconciliation GL account, you need to go to layout management (the button is highlighted). There you can change the layout and add missing columns. Afterwards, you can save the layout.
