Readiness Check for Upgrade (S/4HANA 2023)

An upgrade from S/4HANA 1909 is planned for early next year. Plan will be to go to the latest version which will be S/4HANA 2023 by then.

We want to get the Readiness Check executed in the next few months so we can review this, determine the potential impact of the upgrade and what type of support would be needed from SAP.

Ideally, we would like to run the check for version 2023 but this doesn’t seem to be available yet. Therefore I have a few questions on this:

1. When will the RC for S/4HANA 2023 be available?
2. If we run the RC for S/4HANA 2022 now, do we need to run it again later for 2023 or can it be updated without having to execute the full report again.

Appreciate any input on this.
