Hello,
how do we link ACDOCA custom fields with Group Reporting's custom fields? We are aware that we can create custom fields in Group Reporting through "Custom Fields and Logic" App, but we would need to understand how to set an already-existing ACDOCA field as the value source for them, for instance when releasing the Universal Journal into ACDOCU.
Any feedback is highly appreciated.
Thanks

In the Custom Fields app, you would create two identical fields for the 'Accounting: Coding Block' business context, and for the 'Group Reporting: Journal Entry Item' context. Then, under business scenarios, enable the relationship between the two contexts.
Once you 'Publish' this change, SAP will generate view extensions to add the custom field(s) to the Release Universal Journal task.

It may depend on how you created the ACDOCA field. Was it through 'Custom Fields' (or 'Custom Fields & Logic' in earlier releases)? Or through the GUI? There is a t-code SCFD_EUI that can be used to enable custom fields created in the GUI in the Custom Fields app.
But you still need to create the field in Custom Fields in the Group Reporting context. So I have 2x entries for each field when it's used in both ACDOCA (Accounting: Coding Block) and ACDOCU (Group Reporting: Journal Entry Item).
Hi,
When you create your custom field you can select to use it in both ACDOCA and ACDOCU
Alternative I think you should be able to use substitution rules:
If you use Group Reporting Data Collection you can also use mapping functionality and run a mapping job with ACDOCA as source.
