Can you provide suggestions for migrating data from SAP R/3 (4.7) to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (public)?

Hi ,
Aside from the staging table approach, can data migration be achieved using standard iFlows in SAP Cloud Platform Integration, or would we need to create custom iFlows or custom programs for this purpose?

Are there any other methods or third-party tools that can be used?

Hello @KaviM,

The data migration in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition can only be achieved through the Migration Cockpit, hence no iFlows or custom programs can be used.

Please note that you can use an ETL tool (SAP or third-party) to fill the staging tables for both local and remote database approaches. However, if you would like to populate the data directly on database layer, you can use a remote SAP HANA database hosted on SAP BTP.
