While there is a limit of 999 rows for creating quotation order through Excel upload in terms of the number of sales item lines, is it correct to understand that there is no limit of 999 rows when creating quotation order through API integration from an external system?

Indeed, there is no such constraint when it comes to the Sales Quotation A2X API, This API allows you to create a sales quotation with more than 999 sales quotation items.
