Hi Everybody,
Is there a way by which we can send a "Will advise" kind of Purchase Order when you don't know the price to go on the PO. To give an example, when you send a vehicle for service, you really don't know what to put on the PO. When the actual numbers come in from the service center, we want to change the PO.
One way to handle this is by creating a PO with $0.01 value and then change the PO when value is known. Is there a better way to handle this kind of situation in SAP?

Hi
Try creating a RFQ(request for quotation) asking vendor price regarding your requirement. Referring to RFQ , vendor sends Quotation based on quotation you can create a purchase order so that all details including price will flow from Quotation to purchase order.
to create RFQ tcode is ME41
To create VENDOR QUOTATION(ME47)
to create po t code is me21n
hope it helps

May be I need some clarification on
"Why dont you sent without the reference to PO and when Goods recieved back you can generate Automatic PO on Goods Reciept"
Do you mean
- Don't send PO ( I am not sure what will be the communitcation for the vendor to act upon. He needs some document such as a PO to act upon)
- At GR time Auto generate a PO with the actual value?
Thanks
I have the same issue here. If someone knows a better practice on this. I will be much appreciated.
