"Get" API for Production Version

Hello Experts,

Our S/4 Hana Cloud customer has this below query. Can anyone please provide your input on this? 

 May I know  when the API ‘’Get’’ for Production Version will be available. 

 Actually, we have an API ‘’replicate’’ available but it will be easier for us to use a ‘’Get’’ type API.

Did you know customers can create their own "Get" or Read APIs from so-called CDS Views? There is a CDS View for Production Versions, https://api.sap.com/cdsviews/I_PRODUCTIONVERSION/fields , which may cover this customer's data/field requirements. Hi

I don't see the CDS View I_PRODUCTIONVERSION on my S/4HANA Cloud system. Am I doing something wrong or is this View only available in On-prem systems?
