"Engineering change mgmt called with data that could not be interpreted" error during BOM copy

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We have this scenario in PP. We are copying  production BOM (BOM status 1) into ISL BOM (Bom usage 0) using function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN. However, upon execution we receive the error above (CC092). Could it be related to ECN? If yes, how can we check? If the mat BOM's components has its corresponding change numbers?

Recently, I face this issue. The error CC092 is due to material master is activated with deletion flag.

You need to remove DEL-FLAG using MM06.

Hello,

This could be due to the source Bill of material is having the change number whereas  the target BOM is missing. Also history requirement is active for BOM

Make  dummy change change number in the copy bill of material could help you.

IN table STPO you will get the change number for exiting BOM components.
