"Company Car (0442) not permitted"

Hello all.

I am getting an error of "Company Car (0442) not permitted" while I want to assign the company car to the employees. I am working on Saudi Arab project. HELP REQUIRED!!!!!....

HI ,

You can use infotype 0040 (Objects on Loan for Company car) in this infotype you can create all assets details as subtype e.g

company car,laptop,mobile etc etc

Thank you for your answer. I have created subtype (Company Car) of I.T. 0040 and also assigned to the employee.
While running the payroll there was no impact shown on the output of the payroll result. HELP REQUIRED!!!

The Infotype may be Country dependant, as implied by John, but I would have tought that such a concept should be universal.

Have you looked at the Infotype's settings in table view V_T582A?

Have you done the appropriate configuration through the IMG (Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Payroll Data > Company Car) ?

I believe, IT0442 is not applicable to Saudi Arabia. It is applicable to European countries.

"ISSUE RESOLVED"

SPRO -> Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Customizing Procedure -> Infotypes -> Assign Infotypes to Countries -> Execute it.

Enter the remaining details with regards to the country grouping and required I.T and save it.
