Hi everyone,
I have a question about routing scheduling.
(CA03 --> Extras --> Scheduling --> Schedule --> Results)
Would you tell me how the system converts queue time in hours to the amount in days in routing scheduling?
For instance we have 6 hour queue time for the first operation in a routing and 0 hours for everything else.
The waiting time and move time are all set to 0 hours for all of those operations.
(1 hour break is assigned for those work centers. Operating time is set to 6.75 hours for all of the work centers in the routing.)
When we have 6 hour queue time only for the first operation, the interoperation time is calculated as 0.31 days.
But we have 6 hour queue time only for the last operation, the interoperation time becomes 0.96 days instead.
In both of those cases, the total queue time is the same amount of time (in hours), but they get different amount when they are converted to days.
I don't know where/how we get those differences and how the interoperation time is converted to days.
I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me about it.
Best Regards

Hi,
Queue time will consider each work center available capacity start and finished times. If the queue time exceeds the capacity finished time for a day, it will move to next date, and it will consider the time in between next capacity start time also. It will be clearer if you look at the Gantt chart representation of the queue time. (Extras > scheduling >Gantt chart),
