QS21 classifications

Hi! Please help, has anyone worked with classifications in QS21? Explain how they work, how they will be displayed in the results, how to configure them? Preferably with screenshots

classification of characteristic (MIC) is used to classify the characteristics and doesn't affect QM processes. It is used for finding characteristic (MIC) which are grouped together in a class and described by additional values - class characteristics.

Data preparation steps:

• create characteristics in CT04
• create class of type 005 in CL02 and assign characteristics
• create characteristic (MIC) in QS21 and assign classification class to it. Additionally describe the characteristics with values

Finding the characteristics for usage in inspection plan:

• create or change inspection plan using QP01 or QP02
• find master inspection characteristic (MIC) according to class 
• assign master inspection characteristic (MIC) to an operation
