QM Reference Plant for MIC s

Dear SAP Gurus,

Scenario:

MIC s need to be created across several plants for the business. But the MIC s remain the same regardless of the plant in which MIC is defined. ( Values, Attributes no change)

Requirement:

Define the MIC in only 1 plant so that Master Data management is lean and simple- Changes to MIC to be made , if required, in only 1 plant

Query:

Is it possible to define a reference QM plant say QM00 and assign every individual Logistics /Mfg. Plants where QM is active , to this QM00 ref. plant?

This way , MIC s need to be defined in only 1 ref. QM plant QM00 . Any changes etc to MIC will be performed in the QM00 plant Only. Due to the assignment. it applies to all individual Logistics /Mfg. Plants and can extend to Inspection plans as well

Pl note that Client using RISE with SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud version 2022 .

Hello Rangnath,

Hope I understood query correctly

Your scenario can be managed ,

MIC to be created only in one reference plant

reference plant MICs to be used in any other QM plant's inspection plan ,

it is standard and no other customizing or enhancement needed

also no need to set relation between reference MIC Plant and QM plant
