Qm instection lot status "MCAN"

Dear experts, 

When we cancel a lot through QA02 or cancel a document, the system sets the lot status to "LTCA." 

However, I have noticed a lot with the status "MCAN - Lot marked for cancellation" in my system. Can you explain how the system ends up with  the MCAN status for the lots?

This is for the lot with origin 89.

Hello everyone, I managed to reproduce the issue by setting the CMAT status and then canceling the lot. However, instead of canceling it, the system marks the lot for cancellation.

Could it be there is a user profile used that contains the status.

Hi Herman, there is no option to put the status MCAN through user profile. Can you please let me know where else can i look.

Could it be that the status is coming from the status profile. In that case a user manually has set the status.
