Hi Experts,

I tried to perform automatic batch determination for a Sales order. I created a condition record having in VCH1 having one 023 batch class same as assigned with Material master.

I created a characteristic name as MRSL in CT04 and defined with values say >90 and assigned it in condition record.

Now how do I make the batches to be picked whose expiry dates should be greater than 90 days . When I tried to create a sales order it is picking the batches even with expiry dates .

I am not sure whether I mapped the field VFDAT correctly , kindly guide me.

Thanks in advance

Regards ,

Varatha

Hello,

Add the characteristics LOBM_VFDAT, LOBM_LFDAT and LOBM_RLZ to the selection classes.Maintain a remaining shelf life in the strategy records of the batch determination. Comparison operators (> , < , <= , >=) are taken into account in the dynamic calculation of the expiration date in the batch determination. Please refer SAP note

Thanks both of you! Your inputs really benefits.

I was searching for the fields LOBM_VFDAT, LOBM_LFDAT and LOBM_RLZ where to add . Now I have added it in the class characteristic tab before I entered my own characteristic so that time it did not work.

"...... I created a condition record having in VCH1 having one 023 batch class same as assigned with Material master."

See the note the Brahmankar referenced. The class used as the selection class must be different than the class used for the material master.
