Dear Experts,
My client would like to know about Stock room management from S4/Hana 1909.
I had asked our local SAP corp but they told me to ask here.
Because they don't have any expert of Stock room management.
I've already searched on everywhere and found few links.
However, I couldn't find actual menu tree, transaction, configuration and implementation of Stock room management.
So, is there any further information on that? Except what I already found below.

Thanks.

Hello cspackman
Let me answer this question of yours as it shows the confusion behind stock room management in S/4HANA:
I also ask because HANA docs say you can do the old ECC WM but it is only through 2025, but Stock Room Management in a HANA component and good beyond 2025 (although not the long term solution).
First, let's understand clearly - stock room management is nothing more than old ECC WM. That's the same functionality, the same code, the same transactions, the same configuration. The only difference is licensing.
Initially SAP offered WM in S/4HANA as so called compatibility pack with a very strong message that compatibility packs are supported till the end of 2025. Moreover as S/4HANA is not considered a successor of ECC but a brand new product, customers are going to loose license rights to compatibility packs past 2025. In other words WM will not be supported past 2025, but customers will not be able to legally use it then.
I suppose there was an outcry and pushback from the customers already using WM and not willing to abandon it while converting to S/4HANA. So SAP responded by introducing "stock room management" i.e. just a fancy name to the old functionality. Stock room management is nothing more than a way of telling the customers that they can still use WM past 2025 and not withdrawing initial message about compatibility packs at the same time.

Question.
There are multiple WM options in HANA. One is referred to WM, Stock room management, EWM, etc.
Is this correct? When I read documentation, it SEEMS to call out WM separate from Stock Room Management. Is this not the case?
I also ask because HANA docs say you can do the old ECC WM but it is only through 2025, but Stock Room Management in a HANA component and good beyond 2025 (although not the long term solution).

Hi again, just to give you couple screen shots of what "Stock room management" really is:
SAP Menu:
Configuration:
You need to understand that "Stock room management" is not a new functionality or new software. It is just a name, new name for the old stuff, for warehouse management module.

Hi, again there is no such a thing as a screen o stock room management. Stock room management is just a new name for the old functionality, for old warehouse management module, that has been in SAP for ages. and it exist in S/4.
You can check it for yourself - just run any transaction that you know from WM.

Don't get confused - "stock room management" is just a fancy name for good old warehouse management i.e. WM module.
