Hi 

We have requirement to output RFQ item and header text onto the form sent to suppliers. This is the long text in addition to the short text description of only 40 characters (which is simply not enough to describe to a supplier a complex requirement to bid for).

The Adobe forms available for the RFQ have only a datasource that contains certain fields of the RFQ unlike the PO that has more including the texts. The PO form as standard outputs item and header texts, but NOT the RFQ.

I managed to get some other fields into the form (such user details: createdby and phone number ) because I used the approach of adding custom fields to be exposed to the forms, however this won’t work for the RFQ Texts simply because there is no CDS view available to fetch the texts ( see SAP NOTE 2796654 ) so this means I am unable to get the texts for the RFQ form.

Has anyone come across this requirement and manged to resolve?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hello Neil,

Currently the available data source in the RFQ form doesn't provide the required fields for item and header notes (texts), also there is no CDS view available to fetch text (even if custom fields are exposed to form).

As this is a missing functionality, so I would request you to raise new feature request via influence.sap.com.

Hi How did you fix this issue? We are also not getting values in dropdowns.
