Hi
The process is following:
1. Create forecast for purchases products
2. Run MRP
3. Purchased requisitions are created
The question. Is it possible to define somewhere that Purchase requisitions are created with quantity 20% more than demand?
For example. Monthly demand = 100 PC. I would like to say that I need 20% more. So after MRP, Purchase requisition is created with Qty = 120 PC?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello @alex_alex85
I don't think there is any standard method to force MRP planning 20% above the demand. You can try using MRP BAdI to implement that. However even if you manage to do that, it's not the way forward. You will end up with tons of MRP exceptions telling you that you are planning too much. That would defeat the purpose of MRP exceptions, make then meaningless and useless.
Instead I'd suggest to either increase the demand during forecast copy or use Modification of Schedule Lines after the copy.

Hi Dominik,
If I enter demand manually, than indeed, I can plan exact needed Qty.
But if I use Forecast-based planning, it means demand is created automatically based on historical consumption. So I needed to add some additional 10-20% to the forecast.
Kind regards,
