Purchase Contract with item category item unknown

Dear Experts,

Customer have requirement to create Purchase Contract with Quantity Contract. The issue is they cannot define the item on Purchase Contract, they know the item when they create the purchase order for the purchase contract.

We have found some articles that we can use Item Categories Item Unknown (M) on Purchase Contract that we can just define the material group. We already configure it but the item categories still not available.

We already tried to use Item Categories Material Group (W), but they only supported for Value Contract.

Is there any solution how to make Item Categories Item Unknown (M) available to use ? or other solution for the issue?
