Public Cloud Edition: Email status 'sent' in app: Monitor Email Transmission but not reach to gmail

Hi Expert,

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

I have configured the sender and receiver in "Manage your solution".

The PO approval email generated in "Monitor Email Transmission" app and showing status as sent but with status code 718.

The email not reach to recipient mailbox. Do you have any idea what to check for this?

Hi @Monddes,

I would recommend reviewing the following knowledge base articles that describes your scenario and contains the resolution:

• SAP KBA 3274509 - Emails do not reach the recipients - SAP S/4HANA Cloud
• SAP KBA 3265907 - Output Items of Email channel are completed but emails does not reach recipient - ...

Additionally please validate the allowed email domains and default email address for email outbound (SCCUI 101311, 101312 and 101313). If the address doesn't match with the sender or recipient domains on the allowlists, the email will not be sent. For more detailed information: Regulating Email Outbound

I hit the same problem when sending test mail via "Monitor Email Transmission " app.

I read 1LQ setup guide and performed settings of below only. (i think other are not necessary for a simple email function test)

Defining an Email Sender Domain. 
Defining a Default Email Sender Address
Defining Email Receiver Addresses

for DKIM, it is required for SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition only.

Still checking, if no clue then may need to do below according to 3496200....

• If the system is on SAP Public Cloud and the mail server is administrated by SAP, create case under component XX-S4C-OPR-INC .

The 1QL setup guide did not update accordingly...

Could you clarify what you mean that 1LQ is not correct?

From the setup guide for 2502 US (has been this way for many releases):

Ok I see what you mean it says for your "Private Cloud" system - this is likely a typo - I will follow up internally as this should be corrected but please create a support ticket indicating the documentation has the error. It should not mention anything about private in a public cloud setup guide.
