Hi experts,
I am currently struggling with the problem described below.
Customer process:
Example
Activity
Workplace
Customer requirement: The system should schedule 6 hours on the first day and 6 hours on the next day. It is required to consume the full day capacity. At the same time, activity should not block three days in the CM21 transaction because the first activity is actually scheduled within two days. In transaction CM03, the user should see the scheduled 6 hours on the first and second day.
Issue: I tried all SAP standard "distribution of capacity requirements", but neither option met the requirement. I tried SAP010 (Overall load for earliest start date), but system in CM21 blocks all 3 days proportionally (normal duration divided by work). On the contrary, in CM03, work is scheduled for the first day regardless of workplace capacity (example: workplace capacity is 6H/DAY, but the system displays 12H on the first day of operation).
Is it possible that activity does not always block proportionally (normal duration divided by work hours) in CM21?
Thank you for any advice,
JB
