Hello all,

How can I freeze and record the values at the beginning of the project (time, expense, additional resources) and compare these values by looking back as they are updated? How to check project history?

Thanks in advance!

Hello ELİF TOKLUCU. In SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition we have CDS Views that you can leverage to create the reporting and compare project history.

CDS View C_PROJECTPLANACTQ2201 and query 2CCFIPRPLANACT2201 help provide the actual and plan amounts for each WBS element, Project Definition, and G/L account in company code currency or global currency. You can also get absolute and relative differences of the actual and the plan amounts in company code currency and global currency.

You can also review the CDS View I_EngmntProjChangeDocDEX that shows change document information for customer and internal projects

To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation t

Additionally you can check the change log of the customer projects with the Fiori app "Show Change Documents" . change logs for the specific project. e.g. 'Field name' MP_STAGE represents the change log for the stage. (P001: In planning, P002: Contract Preparation, P003:In Execution, P004: Completed, P005: Closed.)

Hello ELİF TOKLUCU. Please check there is app "Display Change Documents" . You need to have the SAP_CA_BC_CHNG_DOC_PC business catalog assigned. Please provide details on error that you are getting while you are trying to execute "Display Change Documents".

Thanks

Kind Regards

Thank you for your comment. I can access this app. Actually, I was hoping to find something that directly tracks project-related changes. However, a report can be created with I_EngmntProjChangeDocDEX CDS.Thank you for your response and time.

I found this app

but there are not option for: >Change Document for Commercial Project Header

>Change Document for Commercial Project Financial Plans

>Change Document for Commercial Project Roles and Staffing

or, Example 2 - To check for Role or Staffing Changes:

  1. Change Document Object: Change Document for Commercial Project Roles and Staffing
  2. Object ID: <Project ID> followed by *, eg, PROJECTABC* to check for changes in project PROJECTABC

Do you have any information?

Hello,

Thank you for your answer, in public cloud we don't have table. We have CDS view. So, is there any solution for Public Cloud?
