Production Orders : Adding Characteristics During Order Creation and Confirmation

Dear All,

            What are the steps so that we can create a Production Order with the Characteristics like Speed,Warp,Weft,EPI,..(with reference to Textile Industry). These characteristics has to be given as input during prd.Order Creation and also During Prd.Order Confirmation.so That finally we get a report stating what was the expected and what was the actual.Please help with your valuable advise.

You can use the IS Mill functionality of Fast entry of Characteristics production order and confirmation.

Could you please elaborate what is warp, weft and EPI mean? What do they do?

I understand Speed.

There is one way by which you can define them is Standard value keys (upto maximum of 6 such characters per operation). You can given your planned values in routing and/or order.

And actuals can be seperately recorded at the time of confirmation.

Hi Sudhakar,

           TPI , TPM , EPI , WEFT AND WARP are the parameters of textile industry . This has to be mentioned in the Production Order Creation and the actual will be recorded during the Confirmation also. I think i will try with your suggestion about the standard value keys and check.
