We have a scenario where background program is creating the production order. The configuration is set to release the production order immediately during creation. We have recently upgraded to S4 hana 2023 and we are seeing that the production orders are not getting released automatically now. They are getting RELR status. Since production order does not store error log we are not able to find the cause of rejection. When we are trying to release the same order via CO02 it gets release successfully.
The weird thing is if I first press on material availability button in CO02 I get error "Incorrect Check
for order XXXXXXXX". In log text its says checking rule missing for order type and plant. But we have all the config present in OPJK. Now if we press release it gets released successfully.
Also if I am using COHV to mass release the production order some order gets fail to release and shows this material availability check error, but if we re process them they get successfully released.
If anyone has any input for this situation it would be great help
