Hello SAP Gurus,
I have two plants 1000 & 2000 here 1000 is my manufacturing plant & 2000 is my planning plant. I have FERT & ROH material same in both plant. Now tell me i want to create demand in 2000 plant then it should reflect in 1000 plant. After MRP run in plant 2000 system should create Plan order for FERT & PR for ROH in plant 1000. Is it possible in standard SAP if yes how to do? and after MRP run in 2000 what is result in 2000 plant.
regards,
Hi,
In OMD9 customize the std special procurement key 80, by assigning the production plant in the field Plant in your case 1000. Now assign this key in your material master.
Once demand for this material comes, it generates a planned order with plant 1000 as mfg plant & 2000 as planning plant. In plant 1000 you will be able to view the planned order in MD04.
Do a test in your sandbox & revert if any issues.
Regards,
Vivek

Hello SIR.
As you told i have done setting in OMD9 now in my case i have maintained special procurement key 80 & procurement type (E) in planning plant 2000. in plant 1000 same material unmaintained with procurement type (E). demand created in plant 2000 but it not reflecting in plant 1000 & second thing is after MRP run in plant 2000(planning plant) system create plan order for FERT & PR for ROH in plant 1000 but it is showing under Dependant requirement for plan order exist in 2000. In plant 1000(manufacturing plant) system only create Plan order for FERT. Is it the same result as per sap.? What about the dependent requirement for plan order exist in plant 1000?
regards.
Dear,
If producing the assembly in plant 1000, component 2 is withdrawn from the plant 2000 but the other components are withdrawn from plant 1000.
You carry out the planning run in the planning plant, that is, in plant 1000. During the planning run, the system creates a planned order for the assembly in plant 1000 FERT,
The system creates a dependent requirement for component 2 in plant 1000. A dependent requirement is created in the issuing plant, that is, in plant 2000, for the component 2 with the special procurement Withdrawal from alternative plant.
When the planned order for the assembly is converted into a production order, the dependent requirements of the components are automatically converted into dependent reservations. The withdrawal for the production order is carried out in plant 1000 for the component 1 and in plant 2000 for component 2.
Setting :- You have assigned the component, which is to be withdrawn from an alternative plant, to this special procurement key in the material master of the planning plant (MRP 2 view).
In the withdrawal plant, you have created a material master for the component to be withdrawn.
Hope clear to you.
