The third-party purchase order created automatically from sales order by API cannot show product description in traditional Chinese (ZF).
The description can only displayed in EN, if there is EN description maintained.
However the description stay empty when there is only ZF description maintained in the master data.
Request clarification before answering.
The Product Description displayed is not retrieved from the Product Master Data at run time. Instead, the description is copied from the Product Master to the Purchase Order Item during the creation of the purchase order in the language in which you are logged in.
The description will be displayed based on Logon language and respective description maintained in the master data at the time of creation of Purchase request/ order.
For example, if the product description in master data is maintained in language ZF, but the user who created this purchase request was logged in with EN by default via soap UI, as a result when the Purchase request/ order was created, system looked for the product description in that logon language EN and if there was no product description maintained in that language, it saved the purchase request/order with blank product description. That's why when you log in EN to check, you can see the product description in EN. However description cannot be seen when log in ZF.
To ensure the product description shown in ZF during the first creation of purchase order, please set the log on language of technical user in SOAP UI following this KBA steps: 2951384 - How to change Log on language of Technical users uploading documents via Soap UI
Besides, in order to make sure the output of the order to be displayed as ZF as you expected, you also need to maintain the language of the supplier on master data level, please follow the steps in this KBA: 3407286 - Changed Purchas Order via SOAP UI Output Template in Unexpected Language
Please also check this KBA that may help you to understand the system behavior: 2735797 - Product Description appearing empty or wrong in any purchasing documents
