Hi @Sabarinathan_En
Hope this is still relevant.
Your scenario can be effectively covered in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition using rate-based service procurement with contracts and service entry sheets.
- Here is the recommended Procurement Approach
- Model health insurance premiums as service master records, separated by age brackets e.g. Insurance Premium 20–30 years, 31–40 years, etc.
- Use a service purchase contract and outline agreement with validity period and condition records for each age bracket.
- Handle pro rata charges using service entry sheets against the contract.
- Here is the Process Flow
- Service Master Setup
- Create service masters for each relevant age bracket in the app Manage Service Master.
- Assign a clear description e.g. “Health Insurance Premium with Age ranges between 31–40”.
- Contract Creation
- Create a purchase contract using the app Manage Purchase Contracts F2144.
- Enter service items for each age bracket with their respective rates.
- Define validity to cover the agreement year.
- New Employee Addition
- When a new employee joins, record a service entry sheet (SES) from the inclusion month until the end of the contract validity.
- Pro rata calculation is achieved by posting only for the remaining period.
- Employee Exit
- Stop further SES postings from the month after the employee leaves.
- Since charges are SES-driven, only the covered period is billed.
- Dynamic Rate Determination
- Rates vary by age bracket, handled through separate service master and contract conditions.
- If you want the system to auto-determine the correct age bracket, you can use a Cloud BAdI for pricing e.g. MM_PUR_S4_PRICING to map employee age to the appropriate service item.
- Configuration Elements in Public Cloud
- Activate scope item 18J, Service Procurement with Service Entry Sheet.
- Maintain service master records per age bracket.
- Configure contracts with rate conditions.
- Optionally, you can make use of developer extensibility with a BAdI to automate the assignment of the correct rate.
I hope this provides the necessary details. I am happy to help if you have further questions.
Best regards
Chris
