Process order calculation based on BOM components and base qty

Dear all,

I want to know how qty will be calculated when we create process order based on component qty and base qty maintained in BOM.

I have a material - FERT with components as below

RAW-1 with 50kg

RAW-2 with 50kg

and maintained base qty as 10

while creating process order for FERT material maintained total qty as 11 then in material field it shows requested qty as 55.

want to know how this calculation was carried out?

Hello,

For base quantity of 10 you need 50 KG of raw material.

Means for 1 quantity you need 5 KG of raw material (50/10 = 5)

So 11 it would be 55 (11*5 = 55)
