Hi,

We have the below scenario, I will thankful for your reply.

RM 1, RM 2, RM 3 and PM 1 is the BOM of FG material.

After completion of order, FG stock will be added and the above four components will be consumed.

Opening QtyQty after completion of order
FG 2 Nos

RM 110 M0
RM 25 M0
RM 32 Nos0
PM 11 Nos0

In 2 Nos of FG produced, 1 Number had damaged.

We need to take back 1 number of RM 3 to stock of RM and this 1 number of RM 3 had to be used to another production.

What should be the process in SAP for the above scenario.

Hello Pradeep,

If my understanding is correct, out of 2 FG one FG got damaged after production but you can be able take back 2 RM3 and can be used for Producing another FG's. If you look costing perspective below would be consumed for Producing 1 FG but while you taking back RM3 out of 4 components. I would recommend you create manual production order adding RM3 item and add FG as 1 as components, So that damaged FG can be consumed and RM3 will be get production. It ensure all finance and costing as per process.

RM 110 M
RM 25 M
RM 32 Nos
PM 11 Nos

You can reverse the consumption in MIGO with 262 movement type.

Hi Dominik, Whether consumption of only one material in BOM can be reversed or We need to reverse the whole transaction.

You can reverse one material only, some of them or all of them. As you wish.

I hope, This reversed consumption will be booked as material input qty variance in order settlement.
