Since a couple of days we have the problem that after calling a async. RFC from one SAPGUI dialog process, this process times out after 2 minutes with the message "Process has been reset from PRIV mode after timeout". The called process exists further. The calling process itself does not use a lot of memory at all. There is no reason why it should go into PRIV mode. In SM50 no PRIV mode is displayed for the process.
Why does an async. RFC set the calling process into PRIV mode?
