printer setup question

Hi all,

we want to use loftware label printing and setup all in ME and in loftware so far.

When use a windows printer there is now alias for the printer available, so the printer in Loftware is :

"
servername\printer01" but unfortunatly this name is not allowed to use with me because of the backslashes.

Any idea how het the right name in *.pas file or to setup #Printernumber in ME?

Do you sure?

I have a sdk workspace here and the loftware formatter is part of that.

I tought Sundar Chakravarthy told me, its not guaranteed to be updated in future versions.

But beside of that do you see another easy way to solve the matter?

As I know, couple of our customers requested changes to the formatter - it was enhancement, however, it was prior to SDK.

Sorry, but I can't suggest anything more. Maybe, someone else more familiar with SDK will advise on this matter.

Hello,

As per the setup we had used our printer name were never like "
server name\printer name"

The simple reason behind it was we need to have network printer with ethernet port available, these printer have to installed directly on network. (Zebra) so we always have the printer name directly available in network.

I guess this is the only solution to this problem.
