Price Agreements in Solution Order

Hi Community,

We are implementing Solution Order for our client. Basically, we will create Service Contracts and Service Orders from Solution Order. My question is regarding Service Contract Item in Solution Order.

There is a need to put price agreements in Service Contract Items in Solution Order; so that Service Contract will have the price agreements, and on-demand service order created later on will be covered by the price agreement in the contract.

I am not able to see price agreement in Solution Order.

Can anyone guide me thru this? Is there any way to do this automatically other than manually?

Hi iozel-mt01,

Are you using service items, service parts or expense items? You can only use price agreements in Solution Orders that includes them. Please note that price agreements rely on the determination of relevant pricing information from the condition records used by service contracts.

Yes, I am using Service Product (Service Contract Product) in the solution order. The product I am using is equivalent to SRV_CONTRACT in Demo system. So, I guess, what you are saying is, price agreements should be available for this item?

The problem is, I can't see price agreement tab for this item (Service Contract Item).

Would you be able to explain to me where to find it?

thanks for addressing this specific issue to us, we appreciate very much the feedback.

When we designed the use of service contracts in solution order, the named functionality was not considered. However, it might makes sense, to add this capability in future.
