Hi
We are starting project for migration from ECC to S4H 2020. We want to execute pre-check in system for New Asset accounting, and we want to do it separately from SUM or SI Check report.
Can we use execute report RASFIN_MIGR_PRECHECK in ECC system for pre-check of New AA ? Note 2618023 mentions for S4H 1809 onwards, you should use SUM tool or program /SDF/RC_START_CHECK. RC_START_CHECK seems to be check for complete system. We rather want to perform AA pre-check. Is there any issue in using RASFIN_MIGR_PRECHECK ?

Hi Kapil,
All the reports are executed in the source systems i.e. ECC and the reports mentioned by you has changed since 1909. RASFIN_MIGR_PRECHECK is no more valid since S/4HANA 1909 onwards. Asset related SI items are now part of readiness check, once readiness check error are resolved, you have to run FIN_AA_CORR_RECON for AA reconciliation for database inconsistencies after readiness report related issues are resolved.
For more detailed understanding refer to SAP Note 2332030 (Conversion of accounting to SAP S/4HANA), this will provide you all details w.r.t. S/4 HANA Finance conversion reports including AA and all other finance modules.
Hope this helps, let me know for any further queries.
Thanks,
Mukesh
