PR no. is not shown in ME21N if PO is created with reference to outline agreement

I have created a PR no. in CJ20N and then RFQ was generated with reference to that PR. Then outline contract was created in reference to RFQ no. Now I have created a purchase document with reference to said contract, but RFQ and contract no. is not shown in ME21N. There is problem in such case that PR is not directly linked to PO and the same is not saved in EKPO table also .

If I manually enter PR no. then it is saved into EKPO table.

I want to know why PR no. is not stored in EKPO table when I have created the same in reference to each other succeeding document, Is there solution in standard that when I create PO with reference to contract then PR should come automatically.

Enhancement has been made in system by ABAPer , now it is facing all related data.

Hi Umesh,

Since you have created a contract already, the purchase requisition is closed.

For tracking the purchase order, purchase requisition and contract :

Then the flow should be as follow:

• Contract created.
• Purchase requisition created and assign the contract in the requisition source of supply tab.
• Create Purchase order reference to the assigned purchase requisition.

Hello Umesh,

The contract is not created with reference to the PR, but with reference to the RFQ, so the PR number displayed in RFQ's EKPO entry, not in contract's item.

So if now a PO is created with reference to the contract, the PR number will not be filled in PO automatically, but if a PO is created with reference to the RFQ, the PR number will be proposed.

My sequence of creation document in SAP as under

PR (ME51N/CJ20N) > ME41 > ME31k > ME21N

In above, sequence, when PO is created in me21n with reference to Contract, when all documents in SAP are integrated and interlinked, then in table EKPO all other entries like PR, RFQ, Agreement should be stored,

but system is only saving data of PO No. and Agreement No.

in below table 1st line shows entry related to Agreement No.

In 2nd line entry shows related to PO & Agreement and other entries should also come.

pl see below, the ekpo table, upto contract creation there is reference of RFQ as well as PR

but in case of PO creation , there is only reference of Contract , no FRQ, no PR reference is saved.
