PPDS Heuristic in S4HANA moves the process Order Dates

Hi Experts,

We need your suggestion for below scenario

# Process order created from Planned Order have certain dates (Basic and Scheduled)

Heuristics run which has 2 Steps, 1st step for Planning of Standard Lot and 2nd Step for Rescheduling

This heuristic run is pushing the dates in future, we don't want to happen unless otherwise manually done by User

We have different heuristic option to set firming indicator and skip these firm orders, but we don't to use

Is there a possibility to restrict this date change functionality?

Hi,

You can define optimization range so that the activities which are not within the range will be considered as fixed during optimization.

Alternatively, you can also determine it in the optimization profile, if you don't want the already released orders to be rescheduled during optimization run.
