Posting in FB01 using RFBIBL00

i am using RFBIBL00 to post a document in FB01.

In SM35 i am getting this error in the LOG, can i please get your opinions as to why i am getting this error

Can you please share the fields that you filled in BBSEG (line item details)?

I have provided the details for each of line items......and yes the client is insisting on passing the line time with 0 amount

Did you check if this kind of posting is possible with zero amount using transaction FB01?

I am quite sure that this is not possible - I do not get the point how this could make sense to create line items with zero value (but ok, I am not the FI-expert).

i did some analysis and it seems that adding trading partner details(VBUND) for the line item having 0 amount is not allowed and is the reason why we are getting the error

Still doing some further analysis

So i found out that in our case if the amount is 0 then we cannot pass additional details like the trading partner details(VBUND)

Also when dealing with RFBIBL00 and posting using a file i would suggest that make sure the structure and the data within the file is correct and the mapping is correct.

Also there is something called as message control which would help in this.
