Hi all, 

is there a similar option like Post with Reference in ECC (e.g FB01 -> Post with Reference; FB50 -> Go to -> Post with reference)

Hi Matthias,

The closest that you will have is using the app Manage Journal Entry templates, where you can define your own template and re use it as many times you wish.

Dear experts,

Do you know why the feature “Manage Journal entries" -> "New" --> "Similiar Journal entry” is not available for customer and vendor invoices? the function is grayed out.

Hello Céline,

we are as well not happy about not having the posting with reference possibility. That cost us just profitability in accounting.

it depends on which App you are using for incoming invoices if i can suggest an option for you.

In general there are two Apps. "Create Incoming Invoices" and "Create Supplier Invoices".

It depends on what your company needs and which process you have implemented.

By using "create incoming invoices" go get the view "Enter vendor invoices" (I wonder how long it will take for SAP to manage that the first view after pressing the App button has the same title then the App itself and not a different one but let us hope they will)

In this view you can go to "more / goto / post with reference" then you are in a view that looks like the "old world" of SAP
