How to trigger re-release if PO text (text menu) have been changed/edited?

It is difficult but possible by two work around's.

First one is using version management for release to trigger and using text field for version to generate.

Second is using user exit M06E004 and Include ZXM06U22 . pssson value say Y if text is edited or N when text is not edited to USRC1 field in CEKKO. You need to activate this USRC1 field and then create characteristics for this USRC1 field. Assign this characteristics to Class and then redesign release strategy to trigger if USRC1 = Y (PO text edited).Le me know if you stuck up.

The release strategy wont be triggered for text chnage,

not sure but check Version management , please search for VERSION MANAGEMENT IN PO on net ,

Hi,

PO release strategy uses CEKKO communication structure. It is not possible to re-trigger release strategy when PO text is changed because PO text field is not available in CEKKO.
