PLD Editing

Hi Experts,

i am working on a customer's General Ledger PLD. On the customer's Journal Entry i have created a UDF and i want that field to show on the PLD.

I run a General ledger PLD and i took form settings to show that UDF field on the General ledger report. But when i go to the PLD and add a system variable with the number there when i preview the report the out of that UDF does not show.

Is there any reasons Why?

Hi,

Your request is to add UDF field in GL PLD. But project name is not an UDF. It is already in the system.

Hi,

Tested in 8.82 PL04 version as per your requirement. UDF that is created in row level is not displayed in General and expand type PLD.

Most of field in general PLD is created by using system variables. This may be reason, system won't allow to show new UDF.

so after using the system variable for the field in the PLD nothing appears.

Hi Justice Doku,

As per your requirement i have created a UDF in journal entry screen. For your refernce please follow the screen.

Now Go to General leadger and track your UDF from Form setting. Put your cursor on UDF you'll get system information below. for your refernce please follow the screen.

Put This variable in PLD system variable. For example in screenshot : Variable=13. Please refer screen shot...

Hai Justice,

In PLD choose the database field and in properties give the source type as Database table as OJDT

and choose the required field.
