I am looking for help / information about Plants Abroad, and the WIA invoice in particular. I know a lot of information can be found here, but none of it was of help in the last phase of my issue, which is getting a WIA invoice for the import part.
We have the following situation:
The company is located in the Netherlands with DC’s abroad.
A PO is created for the DC in Germany, ordered at a vendor in China.
The vendor ships the goods to the harbor in Rotterdam where the goods are checked by customs, which is supervised by a Company specialized in this. When the goods are declared, this company in Rotterdam(the goods supplier) puts the goods on a truck to Germany. When the goods arrive in Germany, they are booked by the DC.
So the goods needs to be checked in the Netherlands and not in Germany (what my company prefers). Because a goods movement is taking place between NL and DE, an Intrastat report needs to be created. What we also need is a WIA invoice, for proper TAX reporting as there is export from NL to Germany.
Thanks to Plants Abroad the Intrastat report is visible for the order. What is missing is the WIA invoice. This dummy invoice can’t be triggered because there is no outbound delivery (there is no sales document / not billing relevant). There is also no intra stock transfer as we don’t use a DC in Rotterdam, only a goods supplier. Goods are booked by Germany DC. So because we are dealing with import (arrival) it’s not standard SAP that a WIA invoice is created.
Anyone ever dealt with the same scenario?
